The Mako Wind Energy Center is a proposed 600-megawatt wind power generation facility in Ford & Kiowa Counties, Kansas. Land-based wind energy is critical to meeting growing demand with reliable, affordable energy, while strengthening local economies, creating jobs, securing American energy independence, and delivering cost savings for consumers.
